Average shelf life at 38ºF is 10 - 12 days
One degree affects product keeping quality.
For best product protection, store milk at 38º.
  KEEP IT COLD!  
Always store milk and milk products between 32º and 38ºF.
Avoid heat shock, do not leave milk out for a prolonged period of time.
The shelf life of milk is shortened by a full 50% for every five degree rise in temperature over 38ºF.
Do not over-pack your refrigerator, it will reduce the ability of your refrigerator to keep foods cold.
