The Perfect Dessert
A perfect ending to any meal, the kit comes with buttermilk biscuits, strawberry compote, and ready to pipe whipped cream filling. Lemon sugar to sprinkle on top adds that gourmet touch! Easy to assemble camp side or at your backyard BBQ. Store in freezer then thaw in refrigerator when ready to use. Makes 4 assembled shortcakes.
Store in freezer. Thaw in refrigerator 24-48 hours prior to cooking (recommended), or cooked from frozen (if frozen add 15 minutes cooking time).
Thaw in refrigerator for 24 hours. Consume within 7 days of thawing.
Preparation: Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. (Cooking camp side? Heat the biscuits on the grill!). Split the biscuits in half then lay, cut side up, on the sheet tray. Sprinkle with the lemon sugar. Heat for 8 - 10 minutes until warmed and slightly crisp.
Plating: Put a bottom biscuit on each plate. Spoon on the berries. Cut the corner of the whipped topping pouch then add some whipped topping. Top with a top biscuit then add more whipped topping, berries and lemon sugar as desired. Get creative!
